These thread into the base of a leg and adjust by hand to take the rock out of furniture and equipment standing on an uneven floor. Before you order
Every foot on this page screws in. If the bottom of the leg has no threaded hole, the foot has nothing to go into and you need one more part first.

Look for a threaded socket in the bottom face. Factory-fitted feet unscrew, which tells you the thread is there. A plain hole with no thread is not the same thing.

Screw the old foot back in and measure across the thread, or read it off the packaging. Common sizes are M6, M8 and M10, plus 1/4″-20 and 5/16″-18.

Hollow tube legs take a threaded insert, and the insert then decides the thread. Once it is seated, the leg accepts a foot like any factory-threaded leg would.
Solid wood legs with no thread can be drilled and fitted with a threaded insert by a joiner, but on most furniture a self-adhesive pad or a nail-on glide is the simpler answer. Leveling feet earn their place when the floor is uneven, not just when the leg needs finishing.
Nine bases
The thread is the same job on all of them. The base is what changes, and it comes down to how much room you have underneath and how the floor behaves.
Start with Standard. Drop to Low-Profile where clearance is tight, and Ultra Low-Profile where even that is too tall, though fewer thread sizes are available at that height.

Wide spreads the load over 50 mm (1.97″) for heavy furniture and conference tables. Slim suits legs set close together. Mini is 13 mm (0.51″) for small, light pieces, M6 thread only.

Tilt pivots up to 9° so the base stays flat without adjustment. Ball-Joint pivots in any direction, for legs that meet the floor at an angle rather than square to it.

Smooth has no exposed adjustment mechanism, so it reads as part of the furniture rather than as hardware. A hex-key version adjusts from underneath with an Allen key.

Not sure this is the right line
A leveling foot fixes a wobble. If the floor is flat and you only need to stop the leg marking it, a simpler part will do the job.
The floor is uneven, the furniture rocks, or you need to set the height. A threaded hole in the leg, or a threaded insert fitted first.

The thread check sits above and the guide handles materials. What follows is the small print people ask about last.
It depends on the stem length you pick and how deep the thread runs into the leg. The stem screws in and out; a longer stem gives more travel. The purpose is taking a wobble out of an uneven floor, not changing the height of a piece by any real amount.
Take out the foot that is already there and measure across the threaded part, or read it off the packaging. M8 is the most common on furniture. If nothing is fitted and the leg is a hollow tube, you need a threaded insert first and the insert determines the thread.
The plain bases are hard plastic and are meant for sitting still. On a smooth sealed floor, choose a version with a pad fitted. For a floor that feels slippery, the anti-slip versions use a TPE face that grips instead of sliding.
The base pivots rather than staying rigid to the stem. Tilt gives up to 9 degrees, which covers a floor that slopes slightly. Ball-Joint pivots in any direction, which suits a leg that is not square to the floor in the first place.
Choose a stainless steel version. The standard rod is zinc-plated steel, which is fine indoors but will corrode in damp, coastal or washdown conditions. Stainless is available on both standard and low-profile bases.

Size guide
The sizes in the filter are the size of the protector, not the leg. Measure the leg at its widest point where it meets the floor. The right size sits flush with the leg base or very slightly inside it. Never larger.
