The leveling foot range starts at Ø 20 mm on the low-profile base and goes up to Ø 50 mm on the wide base. But some furniture and fixtures have legs, posts, or mounting points under 15 mm in diameter where even a Ø 20 base would be disproportionately large. Mini adjustable leveling feet go smaller: Ø 13 mm, the smallest base in the entire range. At this scale, the foot is barely larger than the M6 threaded rod itself, sitting almost invisibly under small legs, thin posts, and compact fixtures.

Every other leveling foot in the range uses PA (polyamide) for the body. Mini adjustable leveling feet use POM (polyoxymethylene). At the Ø 13 mm scale, POM provides advantages that PA cannot match.
Why POM at this scale
POM has higher stiffness than PA. At Ø 13 mm, the base is only 133 mm² of floor contact. Under a 60 kg load, the pressure per square millimeter is 0.45 kg/mm², which is significantly higher than larger bases. POM's superior dimensional stability prevents deformation at this pressure concentration. Ø 13 mm is roughly the diameter of an average adult fingertip. The entire leveling foot, including the base and the threaded rod, is about the size of a small bolt. M6 × 15 mm: precision surfaces
For equipment on optical benches, granite tables, precision machined surfaces, and high-quality laboratory countertops. These surfaces are nearly flat and only need fine adjustment to compensate for micro-unevenness. The 15 mm rod provides this fine range without excessive protrusion below the equipment when the foot is at minimum extension.
M6 × 20 mm: general surfaces
For equipment on standard desks, countertops, workbenches, and shelves that may have moderate unevenness. vs. Ultra-Low Profile Ø 25 mm
Ultra-low profile has the same 6 mm base height but at Ø 25 mm with M8/M10 threads. Nearly double the diameter and nearly quadruple the contact area. Choose ultra-low when the priority is a thin profile on standard-size legs. Choose mini when the priority is the smallest possible footprint on very small legs.
vs. Ball-Joint Ø 10 mm
Ball-joint leveling feet come in Ø 10 mm with M4 thread (even smaller than mini). But ball-joint has a spherical contact point for swivel leveling, not a flat base. Choose ball-joint for point-contact leveling on irregular surfaces. Choose mini for flat-base contact with a standard leveling approach.
Measure the widest point of the flat base of the leg, then choose the size on that row. The glide should sit flush with the leg or just inside it, never wider.

POM (polyoxymethylene) has higher stiffness, lower friction, and better dimensional stability than PA. At Ø 13 mm, the base is very small, and any deformation under load would be proportionally significant. POM maintains its shape and dimensions precisely under sustained compressive load, which matters when the entire contact area is only 133 mm². POM is also the preferred material for precision mechanical components where tight tolerances are required.
