Frequently Asked Questions

What angle do these compensate for?

The angled base is designed for common furniture splay angles, typically 5–15 degrees from vertical. This covers most splayed chair legs, bar stool legs, and tilted frame members. For extreme angles, contact Business Solutions for custom options.

How do I orient the plug when installing?

The angled face must point toward the floor. Rotate the plug so the thickest part of the head faces the direction the leg tilts away from vertical. When installed correctly, the angled base sits flat on the floor even though the tube enters at an angle.

Can I use angled plugs on straight legs?

You can, but the angled base will tilt the floor contact surface, creating uneven weight distribution. For straight, vertical legs, use standard flat head round tube plugs. Angled plugs are specifically for legs that meet the floor at an angle.

Are these available in more than 2 sizes?

Currently Ø 20 mm and Ø 22 mm. These cover the most common splayed chair and stool leg diameters. For other sizes, contact Business Solutions.

Is the body the same PE material as standard plugs?

Yes. Same PE body, same flexible ribs, same press-fit installation. Only the head geometry changes to compensate for the leg angle.
