Lay it on its side or turn it upside down. You need a clear look at the bottom of each leg: the flat surface where the round self-adhesive furniture pad will bond.

Simple rule: match the pad shape to the leg shape. A round pad on a square leg leaves corners exposed. A square pad on a round leg wastes material and overhangs. Measure the base and pick accordingly.
