Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads for Hard Floors

Your floors cost thousands. The furniture sitting on them is grinding away the finish every time someone pulls back a chair. Round self-adhesive furniture pads stop the damage before it starts — PA6 needle-punched fiber that glides silently across hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, and stone without trapping the grit that turns cheap felt into sandpaper. 33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm fit every round leg in your home or business. Peel. Press. Forget about floor scratches.

Overview

Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads for Hard Floors

You spent real money on your floors. Every time someone pushes back a chair, the raw edge of the leg drags grit across the finish — cutting scratches you won’t notice until you notice them everywhere. Round self-adhesive furniture pads for hard floors put a PA6 needle-punched fiber barrier between your furniture and your investment. The same material used in our professional furniture glides. Silent. Low-friction. And unlike felt, it won’t compress flat, trap debris, or peel off in a month.

33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm. That’s every round furniture leg in existence — from a small accent chair to a 12-inch table pedestal. Wood legs, metal legs, plastic legs. Peel the backing, press the pad, and stop thinking about your floors. Round self-adhesive furniture pads are available in multiples of 4.

Available Sizes — 33 Round Diameters

Most furniture pad brands give you four or five sizes and call it a range. Round self-adhesive furniture pads for hard floors come in 33 diameters — because a pad that’s too small leaves the leg edge exposed, and a pad that’s too large overhangs and peels off within days. The right round self-adhesive furniture pad sits flush inside the leg footprint, stays put, and does its job for years.

Small to Medium — Ø 12 mm to Ø 75 mm

The sizes you need for everyday furniture — dining chairs, kitchen stools, side tables, desk legs, accent pieces. If it has round legs and people sit in it or set things on it, the right round self-adhesive furniture pad is in this range.

Sizes: Ø 12, 18, 20, 23, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75 mm

10 sizes

Large to Extra-Large — Ø 80 mm to Ø 300 mm

The sizes nobody else makes. Dining table pedestals, sofa bases, bed frames, cabinet feet, piano legs, refrigerator feet, commercial display fixtures — anything with a large round base that sits on a hard floor and needs protection underneath.

Sizes: Ø 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280, 290, 300 mm

How to Measure Your Leg for Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads

This is the step most people skip — and it’s the reason most people end up with pads that fall off or don’t protect. It takes 30 seconds. With 33 round self-adhesive furniture pad sizes at 10 mm increments, there’s a near-exact match for every leg. Here’s how to find yours.

Step 1 — Flip or tilt the furniture

Lay it on its side or turn it upside down. You need a clear look at the bottom of each leg — the flat surface where the round self-adhesive furniture pad will sit.

Step 2 — Measure the diameter

Straight across the widest point of the round base, in millimeters. A ruler works. A tape measure works. If you have calipers, even better — but millimeter-level precision is all you need.

Step 3 — Pick the closest size

If your measurement falls between two sizes, go smaller. A round self-adhesive furniture pad that sits inside the leg footprint stays bonded. One that overhangs catches on things and peels away.

Tapered and turned legs: measure at the very bottom — the flat face that actually touches the floor. What the leg measures an inch higher doesn’t matter. For large pedestals and appliance feet, measure the full diameter of the base. That’s why sizes go to Ø 300 mm.

How to Install Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads

No tools. No drilling. No hardware store trip. Every round self-adhesive furniture pad comes with the EHBT adhesive already applied — you’re peeling a backing and pressing a pad. The whole job takes less time than reading this section.

What you need
  • Isopropyl alcohol (70%) and a lint-free cloth
  • Access to the bottom of each furniture leg
  • That’s it — no tools, no drill, no screws
Installation steps
  1. Wipe the bottom of the leg with isopropyl alcohol. Old wax, dust, and adhesive residue are the enemy of a good bond. Clean surface = permanent bond.
  2. Peel the red backing from the round self-adhesive furniture pad to expose the EHBT adhesive.
  3. Center the pad on the leg and press firmly for 10 seconds. Full contact, no air pockets, no lifted edges.
  4. Set the furniture back down. The weight helps. Give the adhesive 24–48 hours to reach full strength before dragging anything across the floor.
Replacing old pads: peel the old one off. Clean the residue with isopropyl alcohol. Apply the new round self-adhesive furniture pad to a fresh surface. That’s the whole process.

Floor compatibility — round self-adhesive furniture pads for hard floors

PA6 is chemically inert. It won’t react to your floor sealer, your wax, or whatever the cleaning crew uses on Tuesday mornings. The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recommends protective pads on all furniture legs as a first line of defense for hardwood. The Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) says the same for vinyl and resilient surfaces. Round self-adhesive furniture pads meet both standards across every smooth hard floor type.

Hardwood — all species and finishes
Engineered wood, parquet, bamboo
Laminate — all types and AC ratings
Luxury vinyl — LVP, LVT, sheet vinyl
Ceramic and porcelain tile
Natural stone — marble, granite, travertine
Concrete — sealed, polished, epoxy-coated
Cork flooring
Linoleum and Marmoleum

Materials & What They Do

There are two layers in every round self-adhesive furniture pad for hard floors. One touches your floor. One holds the pad to your furniture leg. Both are engineered to solve the specific problems that make cheap pads fail. Here’s what’s inside round self-adhesive furniture pads — and why it matters.

PA6 — Needle-Punched Polyamide 6 Sliding surface

This is the layer that touches your floor — and it’s the reason round self-adhesive furniture pads outlast felt by years, not weeks. PA6 fibers are forced through the base material by thousands of barbed needles during manufacturing. Each fiber is mechanically interlocked with its neighbors. No glue holding it together. No layers to separate. When you push a chair, the shear force hits the end-grain of the fibers instead of trying to peel them apart.

Felt works the opposite way — horizontal layers bonded with adhesive that weakens every time the floor gets mopped. Round self-adhesive furniture pads don’t absorb moisture, don’t trap grit, and don’t compress flat under weight. The surface stays smooth and low-friction across years of daily use.

  • Pile density: 1,450 g/m²
  • Temperature range: −40°C to +85°C
  • Chemical resistance — acids, alkalis, cleaning products
  • Low coefficient of friction — quiet, smooth movement
EHBT — Extra High Bond Fiberglass Mesh Tape Adhesive layer

The adhesive is only as good as its carrier — and this is where most cheap pads fail. Foam-backed adhesive tapes stretch under sustained furniture weight. Over weeks, the foam creeps, the edges lift, and the pad falls off. The EHBT adhesive on round self-adhesive furniture pads uses a woven fiberglass mesh carrier that can’t stretch, can’t creep, and can’t peel under load. It bonds to wood, metal (chrome, powder-coat, anodized aluminum), and most plastics.

  • High bonding strength on smooth surfaces
  • Waterproof — survives wet mopping, spills, and humidity
  • Fiberglass mesh prevents stretch and creep under load
  • Clean removal — no residue on most surfaces

Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads vs. Common Alternatives

vs. Cheap Felt Pads

You know the cycle. Buy felt pads. They work for a few weeks. Then they compress flat, trap grit against the floor, and start acting like sandpaper. The adhesive lets go. You find them stuck to your socks instead of your furniture. You buy more. Repeat.

Round self-adhesive furniture pads for hard floors break that cycle. PA6 fibers are mechanically interlocked — they can’t compress flat or separate under load. The vertical fiber orientation deflects debris instead of trapping it. And the EHBT fiberglass mesh adhesive doesn’t stretch, creep, or let go when the floor gets mopped.

vs. Cork Pads

Cork is brittle. Under a heavy table leg, cork cracks, crumbles, and sheds particles that scratch the floor — the opposite of what you bought it for. Cork also absorbs moisture every time you mop, swelling and losing adhesion.

Round self-adhesive furniture pads don’t absorb moisture, don’t crumble, and don’t shed particles. PA6 needle-punched fiber maintains its structure and low friction for years without degradation.

vs. Rubber Pads

Rubber grips the floor — by design. That’s useful if the furniture should stay put. But for anything that moves — dining chairs, desk chairs, stools — rubber creates the resistance that strains your back and drags the leg across the finish. Some rubber compounds also stain floor finishes over time.

Round self-adhesive furniture pads use PA6 with a low coefficient of friction — furniture moves easily and quietly without damaging the floor. If you actually want grip, use round anti-slip self-adhesive furniture glides with an NR+CR rubber surface designed for that purpose.

vs. Furniture Glides (ABS Platform)

Round self-adhesive furniture glides use the same PA6 surface but mount it on a rigid ABS platform. That extra structure matters for dining chairs that get pushed and pulled hundreds of times a day. The platform distributes load evenly and keeps the pad from flexing under stress.

But glides only come in 5 sizes. Round self-adhesive furniture pads come in 33. If you need an exact diameter match — or you’re protecting furniture that doesn’t move under heavy load every day (tables, cabinets, sofas, bed frames, bookcases) — pads are the right choice.

Standard, Heavy-Duty, or Foam?

Three versions of round self-adhesive furniture pads. Same PA6 surface on all three. Same floor protection. The difference is underneath — and choosing the right round self-adhesive furniture pad comes down to how the furniture is used.

Single PA6 layer + EHBT adhesive. The thinnest profile and widest size range — 33 diameters starting at Ø 12 mm. The right choice for most residential furniture on flat, level floors. If you’re unsure which version you need, this is it.

Double PA6 layer + EHBT adhesive. Twice the fiber density for heavy furniture that wears through standard pads in high-traffic commercial environments. 28 sizes from Ø 30 mm to Ø 300 mm.

For heavy furniture →

Single PA6 layer + EHBT adhesive + EHBF acrylic foam layer. The foam bridges minor surface gaps — uneven legs, slightly warped bases, furniture that rocks on a flat floor. Also dampens sound and vibration. 31 sizes from Ø 18 mm to Ø 300 mm.

For uneven surfaces →

All three versions protect hard floors equally well. Standard for everyday. Heavy-duty for punishment. Foam for imperfect surfaces.

Which Shape Do You Need?

Simple rule: match the pad shape to the leg shape. A round pad on a square leg leaves the four corners exposed. A square pad on a round leg wastes material and overhangs. Measure the base and pick accordingly.

Where People Use Them

Anywhere round furniture sits on a hard floor. The 33-size range means round self-adhesive furniture pads fit everything from a small accent chair to a commercial display pedestal — there’s no leg too small or too large. For bulk and commercial orders, visit Business Solutions.

At Home

Dining chairs and kitchen stools. The coffee table your kids push around. The sofa that hasn’t moved in three years but is slowly denting the hardwood. Bed frames, nightstands, dressers, desks, bookcases, TV stands, cabinets, piano legs, and the feet on your refrigerator that you forgot existed. Round self-adhesive furniture pads go on anything with a round base that sits on hard flooring.

At Work

Restaurants, hotels, offices, healthcare facilities, schools, retail showrooms, event venues, co-working spaces. The large sizes (Ø 100–300 mm) handle commercial table pedestals, display fixtures, and equipment bases that consumer pads can’t cover. Round self-adhesive furniture pads are available in bulk for fit-outs — outfit an entire dining room or office floor in an afternoon.
