Furniture that rocks on a flat floor has uneven legs. A flat, rigid pad cannot fix a problem it cannot conform to. You press the pad onto the leg, set the furniture down, and the same corner lifts. The wobble is still there. The floor is still getting damaged at the two contact points carrying all the weight. Round foam self-adhesive furniture pads add an EVA closed-cell foam layer between the PA6 surface and the EHBF adhesive. The foam compresses where the leg is high and fills the gap where the leg is low. Full contact across the entire base, even when the base is not perfectly flat. Round foam furniture pads compress under the high leg and stay proud under the short one, taking the rock out.

Same process as Standard pads: measure the diameter of the flat base in millimeters and pick the closest size. The foam layer adds thickness but does not change how you measure. If your measurement falls between two sizes, go smaller. A round foam self-adhesive furniture pad inside the footprint stays bonded and the foam does its conforming work across the full contact area.
Lay it on its side or turn it upside down. You need to see the bottom of each leg. Look for the uneven surface that the round foam self-adhesive furniture pad will conform to.

It picks up sand and grit from the floor and holds it there. Every time the chair moves, that grit is dragged across the finish. The pad is still doing its job, and it is the thing causing the damage.

The EVA closed-cell foam layer between the PA6 surface and the EHBF adhesive. Standard round pads bond PA6 directly to the adhesive with no give. Round foam self-adhesive furniture pads add a foam carrier that compresses where the leg is high and fills the gap where the leg is low. This conforms to uneven bases, eliminates wobble, and dampens vibration. The PA6 floor-contact surface is identical across all three pad types.
Yes, if the wobble is caused by a slightly uneven leg base or minor floor variation. The EVA foam compresses under the high points and maintains thickness under the low points, bringing all four legs into full contact with the floor. If the wobble is caused by a significantly bent or damaged leg, the foam cannot compensate for structural problems larger than a few millimeters.
Yes. Vibration dampening is one of the primary applications. The EVA foam absorbs the micro-vibrations that appliances transmit through their feet into the floor structure. This reduces noise transfer to rooms below and prevents the gradual finish damage that vibrating feet cause over time. Measure each foot and select the round foam self-adhesive furniture pad that is slightly smaller than the foot diameter.
Foam pads are designed for vibration dampening and conforming to uneven surfaces, not for extreme weight. For pianos, heavy commercial tables, and furniture over approximately 50 kg per leg, use round heavy-duty pads with 11 mm thick PA6 instead. If the furniture is both heavy and on an uneven surface, heavy-duty pads are still the better choice because the 11 mm depth handles both problems.
The EVA foam layer adds thickness and requires a minimum diameter for structural integrity. Below Ø 18 mm, the foam layer would be too narrow to provide meaningful conforming or vibration dampening. For legs smaller than Ø 18 mm, Standard round pads (starting at Ø 12 mm) are the right choice.
