PA6 needle-punched fiber is chemically inert and leaves no marks, scuffs, or residue on any sealed floor finish. The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recommends protective glides on all furniture legs as a primary floor maintenance measure.
Unsealed concrete, textured tile, natural cleft stone, and floors with wide grout lines wear PA6 fiber prematurely. For these surfaces, use furniture slides with a hard ABS base that handles abrasive textures without degrading.
