Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads for Hard Floors

Round self-adhesive furniture pads protect hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, stone, and every other smooth, hard floor from scratches, scuffs, and compression marks. PA6 needle-punched fiber surface, not felt. The same material used in our professional furniture glides: mechanically interlocked fibers that won’t compress flat, trap grit, or peel apart the way adhesive felt pads for chair legs do after a few weeks. EHBF acrylic foam adhesive bonds directly to wood, metal, and plastic leg bases with no tools and no hardware. 33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm for precise diameter matching. No rigid ABS platform: flexible profile conforms to curved and irregular leg bases. Sold in multiples of 4.

Overview

Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads for Hard Floors

You spent real money on your floors. Every time someone pushes back a chair, the raw edge of the leg drags grit across the finish, cutting scratches you won’t notice until you notice them everywhere. Round self-adhesive furniture pads put a PA6 needle-punched fiber barrier between your furniture and your investment. The same material is used in our professional furniture glides. Silent. Low-friction. And unlike the adhesive felt pads for chair legs that most people settle for, PA6 fiber won’t compress flat, trap debris, or peel off in a month.

Round self-adhesive furniture pads in 33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm. That’s every round furniture leg in existence, from a small accent chair to a 12-inch table pedestal. Wood legs, metal legs, plastic legs. Peel the backing, press the pad, and stop thinking about your floors. The furniture pads for hardwood floors, tile, laminate, vinyl, and stone that your investment actually deserves. Sold in multiples of 4.

Available Sizes: 33 Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads

Most furniture pad brands give you four or five sizes and call it a range. Round self-adhesive furniture pads come in 33 diameters, because a pad that’s too small leaves the leg edge exposed, and a pad that’s too large overhangs and peels off within days. The right round self-adhesive furniture pad sits flush inside the leg footprint, stays put, and does its job long-term.

Small to Medium: Ø 12 mm to Ø 75 mm

Round self-adhesive furniture pads in the sizes you need for everyday furniture: dining chairs, kitchen stools, side tables, desk legs, and accent pieces. If it has round legs and people sit in it or set things on it, the right pad is in this range.

Sizes: Ø 12, 18, 20, 23, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75 mm

Large to Extra-Large: Ø 80 mm to Ø 300 mm

Round self-adhesive furniture pads in the sizes nobody else makes. Dining table pedestals, sofa bases, bed frames, cabinet feet, piano legs, refrigerator feet, and commercial display fixtures. Anything with a large, round base that sits on a hard floor.

Sizes: Ø 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280, 290, 300 mm

For heavy furniture that wears through standard pads, round heavy-duty pads (11 mm thick) handle extreme loads. For furniture that rocks or vibrates, round foam pads add EVA vibration dampening. For bulk orders, visit Business Solutions.

How to Measure Your Leg for the Right Pad Size

This is the step most people skip. And it’s the reason most people end up with pads that fall off or don’t protect. It takes 30 seconds. With 33 sizes at 10 mm increments, there’s a near-exact match for every leg.

Step 1. Flip or tilt the furniture

Lay it on its side or turn it upside down. You need a clear look at the bottom of each leg: the flat surface where the round self-adhesive furniture pad will bond.

Step 2. Measure the diameter

Straight across the widest point of the round base, in millimeters. A ruler works. Calipers are better. Millimeter-level precision is all you need to find the closest match in the 33-size range.

Step 3. Pick slightly smaller

If your measurement falls between two sizes, go smaller. A round self-adhesive furniture pad that sits inside the leg footprint stays bonded. One that overhangs catches on things and peels away. Never go larger.

Tapered and turned legs: measure at the very bottom. The flat face that actually touches the floor. What the leg measures an inch higher doesn’t matter. For large pedestals and appliance feet, measure the full diameter of the base. That is why round self-adhesive furniture pads go to Ø 300 mm.

How to Install Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads

No tools. No drilling. No hardware store trip. Every round self-adhesive furniture pad comes with EHBF acrylic foam adhesive already applied. You are peeling a backing and pressing a pad. The whole job takes less time than reading this section.

What you need
  • 70% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth
  • Access to the bottom of each furniture leg
  • That’s it. No tools, no drill, no screws
Installation steps
  1. Wipe the bottom of the leg with isopropyl alcohol. Old wax, dust, and adhesive residue prevent a good bond. Clean surface = strong bond.
  2. Peel the red backing to expose the EHBF adhesive layer.
  3. Center the round self-adhesive furniture pad on the leg and press firmly for 10 to 15 seconds. Full contact, no air pockets, no lifted edges.
  4. Set the furniture back down. The weight helps. EHBF adhesive builds bond strength progressively over 24 hours.
Replacing old pads: peel the old one off. Clean the residue with isopropyl alcohol. Apply a fresh round self-adhesive furniture pad to the clean surface. That’s the whole process.

Floor and Furniture Compatibility

✗ Not the right product for
Hard floor compatibility

PA6 is chemically inert. It won’t react with floor sealers, wax, or cleaning products. The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) recommends protective pads on all furniture legs as a first line of defense for hardwood. Round self-adhesive furniture pads meet that standard across every smooth hard floor type listed below.

Hardwood: solid and engineered, all species
Parquet, bamboo, reclaimed wood
Laminate: all types and AC ratings
Luxury vinyl: LVP, LVT, sheet vinyl
Ceramic and porcelain tile
Natural stone: marble and granite (polished)
Concrete: sealed, polished, epoxy-coated
Cork flooring
Linoleum and Marmoleum

Materials and Construction

Two layers. One touches your floor. One holds the pad to the furniture leg. Both layers of round self-adhesive furniture pads are engineered to solve the specific problems that make cheap felt alternatives fail within weeks.

PA6 Needle-Punched Polyamide 6 Floor contact surface

This is the layer that touches your floor, and it’s the reason round self-adhesive furniture pads far outlast felt. PA6 fibers are forced through the base material by thousands of barbed needles during manufacturing. Each fiber is mechanically interlocked with its neighbors. No glue holding it together. No layers to separate. When you push a chair, the shear force hits the end-grain of the fibers instead of trying to peel them apart.

Felt works the opposite way: horizontal layers bonded with adhesive that weakens every time the floor gets mopped. Round self-adhesive furniture pads don’t absorb moisture, don’t trap grit, and don’t compress flat under weight. The surface stays smooth and low-friction across extended daily use. Unlike cheap pads that degrade within weeks, PA6 needle-punched fiber maintains its structure under heavy, sustained loads.

  • Pile density: 1,450 g/m²
  • Temperature range: −40 °C to +85 °C
  • Chemical resistance: acids, alkalis, cleaning products
  • Low coefficient of friction: quiet, smooth movement
EHBF Acrylic Foam Adhesive Mounting System

The adhesive is only as good as its carrier. And this is where most cheap pads fail. Foam-backed adhesive tapes stretch under sustained furniture weight. Over weeks, the foam creeps, the edges lift, and the pad falls off. The EHBF adhesive builds bond strength progressively and resists the creep that peels commodity adhesive off furniture legs. It bonds to wood, metal (chrome, powder-coat, anodized aluminum), and most plastics.

  • Bonds to: wood, steel, aluminum, chrome, stainless steel, plastic, powder-coated metal
  • Progressive bond: builds strength under the furniture’s own weight
  • Resistant to humidity, cleaning products, and temperature cycling
  • Removable with no residue on most surfaces

Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Pads vs. Common Alternatives

If you have been searching for adhesive felt pads for chair legs or rubber floor protectors, here is why PA6 pads are worth the upgrade.

vs. Cheap Felt Pads

You know the cycle. Buy felt pads. They work for a few weeks. Then they compress flat, trap grit against the floor, and start acting like sandpaper. The adhesive lets go. You find them stuck to your socks instead of your furniture. Round self-adhesive furniture pads break that cycle. The fibers are mechanically interlocked, can’t compress flat or separate, and the EHBF adhesive doesn’t stretch or creep. Most people end up switching to round self-adhesive furniture pads after their third or fourth felt replacement cycle.

vs. Cork Pads

Cork is brittle. Under a heavy table leg, the cork cracks, crumbles, and sheds particles that scratch the floor: the opposite of what you bought it for. Cork also absorbs moisture every time you mop, swelling and losing adhesion. The PA6 in round self-adhesive furniture pads doesn’t absorb moisture, doesn’t crumble, and doesn’t shed particles. The fiber structure maintains its integrity and low friction long-term without degradation.

vs. Rubber Pads

Rubber grips the floor by design. Useful if the furniture should stay put. But for anything that moves (dining chairs, desk chairs, stools), rubber creates resistance that strains your back and drags the leg across the finish. Some rubber compounds also stain floor finishes over time. PA6 provides low friction, so furniture moves easily and quietly. If you actually want grip, use round anti-slip self-adhesive furniture glides with NR+CR rubber instead.

vs. Round Self-Adhesive Furniture Glides

Round self-adhesive furniture glides use the same PA6 surface but mount it on a rigid ABS platform. That structure matters for dining chairs pushed and pulled hundreds of times a day. But glides only come in 5 sizes. Round self-adhesive furniture pads come in 33. For an exact diameter match, or furniture that doesn’t move under heavy lateral load daily (tables, cabinets, sofas, bed frames), pads are the right choice.

Standard, Heavy-Duty, or Foam? Choosing the Right Round Pad

Three versions of round self-adhesive furniture pads. Same PA6 surface on all three. Same floor protection. The difference is underneath, and choosing the right one comes down to how the furniture is used.

Standard Pads (This Product)

PA6 surface + EHBF adhesive. The thinnest profile and widest size range: 33 diameters starting at Ø 12 mm. The right choice for most residential and commercial furniture on flat, level floors. If you are unsure which version you need, this is it.

You are viewing this product.

Heavy-Duty Pads

11 mm thick PA6 construction for furniture that concentrates extreme weight: pianos, large dining tables, heavy cabinets. 28 sizes from Ø 30 mm to Ø 300 mm.

For heavy furniture →

Foam Pads

PA6 surface + EVA closed-cell foam layer + EHBF adhesive. The foam dampens vibration and absorbs impact noise from speakers, subwoofers, and equipment that vibrates during use. 31 sizes from Ø 18 mm to Ø 300 mm.

For vibration dampening →

All three versions protect hard floors equally well. Standard for everyday. Heavy-duty for extreme weight. Foam for vibration and noise.

Which Pad Shape Matches Your Furniture?

Simple rule: match the pad shape to the leg shape. A round pad on a square leg leaves corners exposed. A square pad on a round leg wastes material and overhangs. Measure the base and pick accordingly.

Round Pads ← You are here.

For round legs, turned legs, cylindrical feet, and circular bases. 33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm.

Square Pads

For square-section legs. Full corner-to-corner coverage. 32 sizes from 20 × 20 mm to 300 × 300 mm.

Rectangular Pads

For rectangular legs, sled frames, rails, and any base that isn’t square. 108 sizes in 6 width groups up to 510 mm.

Where People Use Round Floor Protectors for Furniture

Anywhere round furniture sits on a hard floor. The 33-size range fits everything from a small accent chair to a commercial display pedestal. There is no leg too small or too large.

At Home

Dining chairs and kitchen stools. The coffee table your kids push around. The sofa that hasn’t moved in a long time but is slowly denting the hardwood. Bed frames, nightstands, dressers, desks, bookcases, TV stands, piano legs, and the feet on your refrigerator you forgot existed. Round self-adhesive furniture pads go on anything with a round base that sits on hard flooring. The small sizes (Ø 12 to 30 mm) handle lamp bases and decorative legs. The mid sizes (Ø 40 to 75 mm) cover most dining chairs and kitchen stools. The large sizes (Ø 80 to 300 mm) protect under table pedestals, heavy cabinets, and appliance feet that no other pad range covers.

At Work

Restaurants, hotels, offices, healthcare facilities, schools, retail showrooms, event venues, and co-working spaces. The large sizes (Ø 100 to 300 mm) handle commercial table pedestals, display fixtures, and equipment bases that consumer pads can’t cover. Stick-on furniture floor pads available in bulk let you outfit an entire dining room or office floor in an afternoon. For commercial pricing, visit Business Solutions.

Maintenance and Inspection

Round self-adhesive furniture pads require almost no maintenance. There is no surface to refinish, no coating to reapply, and no fiber layers to brush back into place. One simple habit keeps them performing at their best: check the pad surface every few months for embedded grit. Sand, gravel tracked in from outside, pet hair, and dried food particles can all lodge in the fiber and turn the pad into an abrasive. A quick wipe with a damp cloth removes anything that has collected on the surface.

If a round self-adhesive furniture pad has come loose, peel it off, clean the leg base with isopropyl alcohol, and apply a replacement. The EHBF adhesive bonds strongest to clean, dry surfaces. On furniture that moves frequently (dining chairs, kitchen stools), inspect pads every 3 to 6 months. On static furniture (sofas, cabinets, bed frames), an annual check is plenty. Watch for wear patterns: a pad that shows a visible groove or bald spot is due for replacement. The PA6 fiber surface is dense enough that this takes significant use, but high-traffic restaurant seating will need replacement sooner than a living room sofa.

For commercial environments with hundreds of chairs, schedule pad inspections alongside your regular floor maintenance. Replacing a worn pad costs a fraction of refinishing a scratched floor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between pads and glides?

Both use the same PA6 needle-punched fiber surface and EHBF adhesive. The difference is structural. Round self-adhesive furniture glides include a rigid ABS platform between the PA6 surface and the adhesive, which distributes load and adds rigidity for high-use seating like dining chairs. Round self-adhesive furniture pads bond the PA6 directly to the leg without a platform, giving you a thinner profile and 33 sizes instead of 5.

When should I use pads instead of glides?

Use pads when you need an exact diameter match (33 sizes from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm), when a thinner profile matters, or when the furniture doesn’t undergo the constant repositioning that dining chairs do. Coffee tables, side tables, bookcases, bed frames, cabinets, and display furniture are all ideal pad applications.

Will these work on large furniture bases like piano legs?

Yes. Round self-adhesive furniture pads go up to Ø 300 mm (11.81″). For heavy furniture like pianos and pool tables, round heavy-duty self-adhesive furniture pads use double-layer PA6 at 11 mm thickness for additional load distribution and vibration dampening.

Can I use these on carpet instead of hard floors?

No. PA6 fiber on carpet creates fiber-on-fiber engagement that increases drag instead of reducing it. For carpet, use round self-adhesive furniture slides with a hard ABS surface that rejects fiber engagement.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the diameter of the leg base with a ruler or calipers. The pad should be slightly smaller than the leg, so it stays hidden beneath the leg edge. With 33 sizes at 10 mm increments from Ø 12 mm to Ø 300 mm, you can match virtually any round furniture leg.
