Sled base glides protect the floor where the runner slides. For the open tube ends of the frame, and for the other furniture in the room, these finish the job. On hardwood, this aligns with NWFA guidance for floor protection.
Some sled base glides have a pad slot in the base. Match the slot size to a fitted PA6 pad and drop it in to optimize the glide for scratch-sensitive smooth floors: hardwood, luxury vinyl, and laminate.
Sled and cantilever frames have open tube ends that can scratch floors and snag clothing. A press-fit end cap closes each one for a clean, finished look, with no adhesive and no tools needed.
For chairs and tables with standard legs instead of runners, low-friction glides keep them gliding quietly across smooth hard floors. Choose nail-on or self-adhesive, in round, square, or rectangular, to suit any leg.
